Voice Intercom for Sonos App Reviews

Okay. Not really perfect. The interface is pretty dull but it works great as long as you realize; expect a delay between speaking and announcing and dont use it when you are too close to the intended speaker(s). I have a play:1 in each of my kids rooms. What a great way to make sure they are up and out of bed in the morning and getting ready for school. I love it! If I had believed the 2 star rating, I would never have spent the $.99, to get this app. So far so good. Bumped it up to 5 stars to show it actually works. Hope the interface gets updated in the future.

The app has minor bugs (for ex. to enable sound you must first launch a music on a sonos then start talking with the app) but its really useful !!! Thank you to the dev and keep working that way ;-)

Its a bit buggy with crashes and sound output thats not always working, but its a fun, good idea. Looking forward to an update which will make it more reliable.

Hello, Concept is cool but it do not work more than 6 sec without a bad exit do not waste a dollar on this version. Maybe next release will be better. Chris

This App dont start on several devices (iPhone 4s, iPad 3, iPod 4G). So its absolute worthless!

Sonos fans have been wanting this for so long! The app works great. It needs some fine tuning but what an awesome start!

Doesnt work

Being able to speak through my Sonos system is great. A couple bugs and the app crashes a bit but for the most part works awesome and now I can use my Sonos system as an in house intercom system. A huge value for the 99 cents!

I havent got it to work as an intercom yet. When it goes back to play your music, it doesnt play what you were listening to, it starts playing from your playlist not your streaming music.

Its a shame that some consumers have little to no patience with the Indie programmer community. This is a solid, yet simple app. It does everything promised. Yes, theres a slight delay, but thats not the programmers fault. It offers a nice enhancement to Sonos functionality. Nicely done!

Works.. Barely. Should be a free app until its properly developed. Cant believe I wasted money on it. The app is so delayed and sometimes doesnt even work at all. Works thru some speakers but not all of them. Each time Ive been excited to show a friend the "cool sonos intercom app I got" I leave them and myself disappointed because it didnt work

Thanks for building this app. For me the app was up and running and working faster then it took to download. No joke. I launched and it auto-detected my Sonos and immediately started working as an intercom. Is there a slight delay? Yes. Is that an issue? Only if you are trying to speak to yourself! My purpose is to make family announcements (time for dinner, everyone in the car, clean your room, time to wake up, and occasional goofiness) I would really really love an Apple Watch version. I have 5 separate Sonos speakers in 3 rooms. And it worked in all of them. A Sonos Playbar, two Play:3 and one Play:5 first generation. I suspect the only way this app could get zero latency is if SONOS integrates it into their app. Which they havent and they should. Well done.
